You will be delighted to know that Canada has invited at least 4,200 immigration candidates to apply for permanent residence. Canada is widely popular and appreciated for its incredible immigration policies.

Canada has never changed its immigration policies in a way that might harm any citizens. No wonder, there are thousands of people worldwide, who prefer moving to Canada and start a new life all over again. Canada is also known as the only country in the world that invites thousands skilled workers and talented people from all over the world to reside in Canada as permanent residents.

Recently, Canada has decided to invite talent from all over the world and has also asked the employers to hire skilled workers from many countries. However, last week, The Government of Canada has managed to issue 4,200 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence to Express Entry candidates in a draw that was held on September 2, 2020.

Express entry is nothing but an application system that administers the pool of candidates for Canada’s main economic immigration classes. The three economic immigration classes are – the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The good news is that the popular Federal Skilled Worker Program candidates were also selected in the recent draw. The latest Express Entry draw was also the 3rd all-program draw since March 18 and the 162nd overall held by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

This is not the first time that Canada has sent invites to thousands of candidates. In fact, the Government of Canada has sent 4,200 invitations to apply for permanent residence is the most issued in an Express Entry. These 4,200 invitations were sent previously to the coronavirus pandemic; issued on February 19, 2020. The large number of invitations issued today and even prior is a very strong indication that Canada is super committed to welcoming many immigrants and skilled workers from all over the world. Prior to this, the IRCC has issued almost 3,900 invitations to apply for permanent residence (ITAs) through Express Entry or most of 2020. However, this is done by alternating between the all-program and the program-specific draws.

The recent draw was the 29th draw of 2020 and hence, brings forth the total number of ITAs issued this year to almost 69,950 invitations; also set up a new record.

A point not to be missed out is that the Eligible candidates for each program are issued a score under Express Entry’s CRS. The points are based and also include factors such as age, education, skilled work experience, and proficiency in English or French. However, while a job letter or employment is not required in order to be eligible under the Express Entry system, the CRS does award additional points to candidates who already have one.
